As a matter of fact, an employer usually prefers to promote a man whom he considers as the breadwinner. A Russian girl has a great desire to build a family that is strong. In fact she would rather assist her man to advance in his career rather than advancing hers. According to her, this is one way of sharing family responsibilities. It is her belief that the man is responsible for providing for the family financially while she provides love and warmth in the home.
Her beliefs do not make her a lazy person or a parasite. Russian women are hard workers. All household work of cooking, laundry and cleaning is done by them. They are ready to chip in to give the family another source of income. They however, are not comfortable with earning more than their husband.
This shows that they still hold their traditional family values where the man is the head of the family. They happily allow the man to lead. They see nothing wrong in needing a man in their lives and being led by him.
This fact does not make her a weakling at all. She views marriage as coming together of two people who are equal. She therefore does not like being ordered around. She doesn’t allow a man to treat her like a doormat. She instead wants to be respected and appreciated and she reciprocates.
Russian girls normally look for partners for life. They therefore look for partners who are mature enough to sustain a marriage. This is because they believe that marriage and families are forever. They would therefore not entertain anything that may break up their family.
